Performing focused activity for a prolonged period causes accumulation of stress in the shoulder blades and upper back region. I made a mistake for a while by taking painkillers and even IM injections. There is a simpler fix to this issue. Just follow these 3 tips:

  1. Always try to stay hydrated.

  2. Take regular short breaks for deep breathing when engaged in a focused activity.

  3. If the strain is beyond tolerance limit, try mindfulness meditation for 5 – 10 mins.
